Join us for the Book Fair from February 13-18! Open before and after school, 5pm-6pm on February 15 in conjunction with Family Literacy Night, and during the WN Elementary Basketball Tournament on February 17 & 18.

Reminder - Third Grade Day at Breakfast has been rescheduled for February 13.

AJ and Ryker represented West Nodaway well at the Nodaway County Spelling Bee. AJ finished 8th overall. Ryker received 4th place and is an alternate speller for the district competition in St. Joseph! Thank you Brogan for being a supportive alternate and offering encouragement.

5th grade families enjoyed breakfast and quality time with the students this morning!



Dylan used his AR points to Challenge Mr. Conn to connect four. We played the best of 5 and each game was tough. Congrats Dylan.

Each year The Nodaway County Cattlemen Association award 7 seniors, 1 from each school in the county a $1000 scholarship with the option to renew it.

West Nodaway High School is part of a program through NW Regional Council of Governments for roadway safety. StuCo members conducted a seat belt check on January 31st. Here are the results: Adults Buckled: 42, Adults Unbuckled: 19; Students Buckled: 75, Students Unbuckled: 38


Ellie, Clara, Eli, Charley, Gentry, Mady, Nova and Jilly all received a 100% on their Science Test over our Waves of Sound Unit! Way to go students!

Steve and Raylan both received 100% on their spelling test. Steve also received 100% on his Math quiz.

These preschool students had perfect attendance for 2nd quarter.

Mid-Quarter

5th graders use Quiz-Quiz-Trade to compose sentences using prepositions and prepositional phrases, then meet with partners to identify the preposition used.
