Thunder Volleyball serves up another victory! JV beats Union Star/ King City co-op 2-0

Nodaway Valley Thunder Volleyball strikes again! Thunder Varsity defeats King City/Union Star co-op 3-0. The Thunder Rolls!

If you have children in grades PK-6th that qualify for free or reduced lunch, "Backpack Buddies" is starting next week! Check your child's backpack and/or folder for a letter and permission form. If you did not receive one and want your child to participate, please call the elementary office at (660) 725-4126.

Play-doh party! Preschoolers have been learning a lot about all of the expectations in school. They are catching on quick and have earned their first 10 class stars.

The varsity football game tomorrow night against East Atchison will be in FAIRFAX, beginning at 7:00 PM.

Can't make it to the volleyball games in Union Star tonight, and need to cheer on the Thunder from home? No worries! Union Star will live stream all games on their Facebook page. Go Thunder!

CHANGE: JH/HS XC and JH Football pictures will be taken on September 13th. All other sports will be taken on September 7th. Order forms are in the office.

West Nodaway's High School Student Council will hold their annual "Back to School Cookout" for all PK-12th grade students tomorrow!

A meeting with West Nodaway district administration and the parents of private school children with disabilities will be held on September 9th at 8:15 AM in the school library. West Nodaway R-I invites representatives of private schools, as well as representatives of parents of parentally placed private school children with disabilities within the district's jurisdiction, to attend this meeting.
