Extracurricular activities are an extension of the classroom. Students can participate and compete in Academic Team, American History Day, Band, FBLA, FFA, and a variety of other activities including sports. A goal for students is to make it to the state level of competition. Here is a snippet of some of our state qualifiers! Thank you to the teachers, coaches, parents, and community volunteers who have helped them reach their goal.

Mrs. Grace's groups hunted Easter eggs with words and sorted them by vowel sounds or syllable types. The kindergarten group hunted for eggs with letters. Happy Easter!!




5th and 6th grade finish off March Mathness and Battle of the Books when it came down to our last two contestants in the brackets. Congrats to Dylan and Vivian for taking the championship title!

March Mathness has came to an end! Dre was our 6th grader and Dylan was our 5th grader. Dylan was our overall champion and received the basket of goodies!


What do you do when you have a tie for Character students of the month? You bring them all! Congrats to these three students Mr. Conn took to lunch today.


First Grade got the opportunity to present their habitats to the 6th grade class!!! They worked all week on building, painting, and gluing their habitats together!





5th graders participate in a spring class builder to read, follow directions, and work together to solve the puzzle and compete against their peers! Have a great spring!

6th Grade students finished their counseling class unit on "cooperation" by creating indoor recess games for younger students. They came up with Skee Ball Bounce, Spin Bowling, Puff Ball Grab, and Obstacle Race. Thank you, 2nd Grade, for attending their "Fun & Games" event!
