The 97th National FFA Convention is fast approaching. We will be having a parent meeting this Sunday at 5:00 PM in the Ag room to discuss the details of our trip to Indianapolis. Biology students were given a $40,000 budget to build a town water tower. They designed, calculated costs, and purchased building materials from the general store. The goal was to hold water (aka pennies) and to learn the design process.
After learning proper kitchen knife safety skills, the Food Science class put their knowledge to work by preparing fresh salsa.

The West Nodaway FFA Chapter has been very busy this year. Last Thursday we had the chance to go to the Graves-Chapel Field Day and learn about various topics in the Ag Industry. Today we got the opportunity to listen to a National Officer, Kanyon Huntington, speak in Tarkio.
