Four students went with Mrs. Clayton to explore various careers related to transportation. Students were able to see how specialty trucks (such as utility vehicles) are manufactured and assembled at Summit Truck Bodies. They then went to Gray Manufacturing and learned about the process of turning raw steal into various truck lifts and jacks. Students also stopped by Missouri Department of Transportation to learn about the engineering and technical components of keeping the highways safe. Their final stop was Missouri Western where they toured campus and visited the new Houlne Center.
