Four juniors went to Herzog in St. Joseph with Mrs. Clayton to participate in their Track to Success program. The event went over resumes, job applications, interview skills, and life choices that impact career options. The interactive day was beneficial for all.


Congrats to AJ and Bryson (who wanted their picture taken together) for making it to the 50 Point VIP Club!

The elementary students sure gave some of the teachers some funny looks today as they were drinking out of coffee pots, hummingbird feeders, trash cans, mailboxes, and so many other odd cups.

Anatomy students have been learning about the cardiovascular system. Today, they applied their learning and checked blood pressures and pulses.

Juniors and Seniors have an opportunity to attend a career event at Rosecrans Air Base in St. Joseph, MO on April 16. Rosecrans is like a mini city with civil and government occupations. From first responder to healthcare to mechanic, there will be a job to explore.

Family, friends, and community members are invited to "Senior Decision Day" on May 2 starting at 3:15 pm in the high school gymnasium. The event will recognize seniors who plan on continuing their education after graduation.
It's Game Day! Varsity and JV baseball play tonight in Burlington Junction vs. OSHS. Varsity will begin at 5:00 PM with JV to follow. (JV will consist of 4 innings of 3 runs or 3 outs format.) Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for students and Senior Citizens 60 and over and children 5 and under are free. Go Thunder!⚾
