Happy Thanksgiving from West Nodaway!🦃

Don't forget! These will begin next week!

Morning mentoring has been a success. Starting Tuesday, we will have 24 high school mentors meeting with 35 elementary students. What started with about 15 students has grown into a wonderful program. High schoolers please contact Mrs. Clayton if interested in being a mentor.

5th graders read from a variety of Civil War resources located around the room, to analyze the information and find answers to the proposed questions!

Second grade enjoyed breakfast with their class and families this morning!

Cooking day in preschool! We made pumpkin pie in a cup. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

Thunder basketball starts tonight! See you in King City!🏀

These proud kiddos reached some reading goals they've been working hard to make! Great job, Delaney, Colt, and Brooklynn!

Congrats to our October Character students of the month Vincent and Brysen. Today they enjoyed lunch with

5th grade teams read and analyzed poems, making inferences to solve the riddles!

We have had a great week in second grade. Two friends made it on the Star work board, Mrs. Goodyear joined the class for thanksgiving lunch, and we enjoyed some extra time outside after watching the school play!

To go along with the November character word of gratitude, 3rd and 4th Grade students made cards for various staff members. Bus drivers, cooks, custodians, school nurse, secretaries, teachers, and more, there are many people at West Nodaway that make our school great!

Don't forget!
