West Nodaway hosted North Nodaway, Rock Port, and Tarkio schools this afternoon for a presentation by Foster Huggins on the importance of suicide awareness and mental health. Mr. Huggins told his story and emphasized how important it is to have conversations on difficult topics.

The next Blood Drive is just around the corner! Be sure to come out and donate!

Juniors attended a career fair at Rosecrans Air Base. They were able to see a variety of job options connected to the military and civilian side of the base.

4th Grade worked in groups during counseling today to act out scenarios and show how to make good choices in a respectful manner. Students did a great job with teamwork and creativity.

The Elementary STUCO is hosting their snack cart on Thursday! Elementary students can bring $1 and purchase a snack from the cart to eat during their snack time! Student Council uses the money raised to purchase items for Red Ribbon week, holidays, and the PTO basketball tournament. Thank you for your support!

Mosaic and Northwest Health are providing an opportunity for area high school students to hear from Mr. Foster Huggins on Wednesday, September 24 at 1:15 pm. Mr. Huggins will talk about mental health and suicide prevention in a format that opens the door for conversations about hard topics. West Nodaway will be the host site and welcome North Nodaway, Rock Port, and Tarkio schools.
