We have had our first week of Teach the Teacher lessons! Jilly taught us some volleyball drills, while Nova gave a lesson on pitching and Gentry gave a presentation on the history of softball. Cash told us all about farming, and Eli educated us on turkey hunting and demonstrated some turkey calls!

Congratulations to Mr. Goff and Mrs. Clayton for being our April "Teacher to Teacher" award recipients. Thank you for all the effort and time put into teaching students at West Nodaway.

A couple weeks ago Juniors and Seniors went to a career fair at Rosecrans Air Base. Congratulations Lane on being selected for one of the prize drawings! A service member made the presentation during lunch.

Some 6th Grade students had 40 minutes to use teamwork and creativity to make a marble maze that was at least 3 feet long. There were a few challenges, however, all groups were able to generate solutions and complete the task.

Lane Larabee is our next honoree. He joined the Rocket team as a Preschool student! Best wishes Lane as you take flight and soar at Northwest Missouri State University.
6th Grade "Move Up Day" was a success! Students maneuvered the hallways, found the classrooms, and enjoyed the junior high lunch shift. They are almost ready for next year!
