Ho, ho, ho! High School Student Council will be hosting a "Christmas Dress Up Week" for all MS/HS students from December 14th through December 18th to get us into the Christmas spirit! The dress-up days are as follows:
Monday: Polar Express (Pajama Day)
Tuesday: Holiday Hats and Socks
Wednesday: Winter Wonderland (Boots, Hats, Scarves, Etc.)
Thursday: Santa's Helpers (Christmas Shirts and Socks)
Friday: Ugly Sweater Day
We look forward to seeing all of your festive holiday apparel!
Mark your calendars! FFA will be sponsoring a community blood drive on Monday, December 14th from 2:00-7:00 PM at the Burlington Junction American Legion.
Don't forget that picture day is next week! SCH Photo will be here on Wednesday, 12/09 to photograph PK-12th grade retakes, HS basketball, HS cheer, along with all other West Nodaway organizations. Picture packets are available in the office, or with your coach!

Our afternoon preschool students have been learning about families. We have talked a lot about shelter and houses. Yesterday we had some fun making houses out of boxes.

Reminder that our Annual Food Drive will be running from November 23 - December 11. Our donations have been very low this year. Please see the attached document for the items that are being collected per grade level. Thank you all so much to those that are able to donate.

On Wed, Dec 9th before our regularly scheduled Board meeting we will have a community forum @ 6:00 p.m. in the media center to hear any comments about a sports co-op with another district. We have completed both community and student surveys in this regard. Masks are required.

Good afternoon PK - 5 Rocket families,
When students return to school tomorrow, we would like for all students in grades 2nd-5th to return their Chromebooks and chargers. They will not need to transport them to and from school at this time. We are excited to announce that our staff seem to be on the mend and we are happy to have everyone back. Having said that, if we should run into a rise in illnesses again we may have to reassess and push the Chromebooks back out. Thank you all for your patience at this very trying and uncertain time. Our main goal is to keep the building open and have class on campus but we just don't know what situation will present itself to us this year.
If your child is in quarantine they will continue distance learning as usual and return their Chromebooks when they return to school. If you should have any questions please call the school office. Have a great evening!
