Our JH basketball teams will take on North Nodaway at home this evening, beginning at 5:30 PM. Go Rockets!

Today the fifth grade class had an experience of a lifetime! We had the opportunity to partake in a zoom conference with Marion Blumenthal Lazan, author of the book Four Perfect Pebbles and a Holocaust survivor. It was a wonderful experience to hear her story!

Third Grade watched some videos, read a book, and talked a lot about what Veterans Day is and what it means to America. Happy Veterans Day and thank you to those who serve our country!

Due to the cancellation of the South Holt Junior High Tournament. Junior High girls and boys basketball will play King City at home next Thursday, Nov. 19th starting at 5:30.

The end of season football banquet will be this Friday at North Nodaway starting at 6:30 for JH and HS football players. Bus will leave from the school at 5:45. Players and coaches only. The end of season volleyball banquet will be Wednesday, November 18th. High School: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm Junior High: 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm The end of season cross country banquet will be next Wednesday, November 18th at 6:30 in the commons. Runners and coaches only.

Happy Veteran's Day! West Nodaway will observe this special day at 2:45 PM with a reading, Flander's Field Song, TAPS, and the Pledge of Allegiance. Junior Auxiliary members will also be passing out poppies and delivering "Blessing Bags" around town.

In observance of Veteran's Day tomorrow, West Nodaway asks that all students and staff please wear red, white, and blue!

The South Holt JH Basketball Tournament for next week has been CANCELLED. Make-up games for the week to be determined!

JH basketball will take on Platte Valley this evening at Jefferson. Game time is 5:30 PM. Good luck, Rockets!

Tomorrow nights JH game at Platte Valley requires tickets. The players were sent home with envelopes with 4 tickets. If you need more tickets please call the office or have your player get them from Mr. Phipps.

Don't forget to place your donut order to benefit Briley's Heart Cart! Donuts are $1.00 each and will be delivered 11/24. Orders due by 11/20. Details on school website. Sign up in the office!

(Tickets are required, will be handed out to parents/players in Mound City during sign out) Thursday: JH basketball at home vs North Nodaway; 5:30 tip-off.
