2nd grade has been reviewing their friends of ten and practicing the make a ten strategy. Today we had a math dance party and sang along to review are friends of ten facts.

Freshmen and any interested Sophomores listened to a presentation by Upward Bound today. This program is designed to help students prepare for college and offers several benefits including ACT prep, tutoring, cultural experiences, and stipends for attendance. 3rd grade read a chapter in their story called “The Hungry Troll” with a partner. Then, they wrote about which chapter has been their favorite so far.

5th grade uses critical thinking strategies and collaborative learning to communicate different points of view in a story.


Using their interactive social studies notebooks, students created diagrams to represent and summarize the 3 branches of government and their powers.




Kindergarten tried plums today after learning the nursery rhyme “Little Jack Horner”, most of them loved them.


Greenhouse students are sprucing up the place. They been propagating plants that will be available for sale at a later date.
