Mark your calendars!

All eighth graders at West Nodaway will attend Manufacturing Day on Friday! 🛠

Juniors and Seniors: The month of October is filled with visits from college representatives! 📝🎓

We attended the Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally Friday. The best part was watching our older students safely help our younger students walk. Great job Rockets!

Sometimes the little things, like having lunch, mean the most to the kids!
“I’ve been trying to have lunch with the kids at least once a week. One of the best ways to get to know someone is to sit down and have a meal with them”
-Mrs. Goodyear (2nd grade)

Good luck today, Thunder! 💚

6th graders worked in pairs to create diagrams comparing and contrasting two different stories we read, and discuss how they relate to the overall theme of our first unit!

The junior high and high school floats looked great at the parade this afternoon! Awesome job, Thunder! 💚

JH Basketball Players: Practice begins Monday! West Nodaway girls and non-football boys will practice from 4:00-5:30 both evenings at West Nodaway. 🏀

The elementary students are showing their school spirit for homecoming! Go Thunder!🏈💚

It's a fun Homecoming morning at West Nodaway! 🌟

6th grade enjoyed some independent reading time this morning!

Happy Homecoming! Go Thunder! 💪🏼💚

Happy Homecoming! See you tonight! 🏈

Community members and parents are invited to attend our Homecoming parade this afternoon! See you at 1:00 PM! 🏈

Reminder from Mr. Brogan: The combined high school band will start rehearsal with Nodaway-Holt in the West Nodaway band room at 5:15 PM. See you then!

Second grade worked on sorting animals today. They had to use their reading skills and some teamwork to put the animals into groups based on their traits.

Character Student of the month treated to lunch on Mr. Conn. They chose Pagliai’s. Spaghetti and Oreo Fluff!
