Preschool through 2nd Grade has been learning about Ruby Bridges during counseling. We talked about what it would have been like to be Ruby. None of the kids could understand why the people didn't want Ruby to attend the school just because of her skin color. Students did a great job discussing the importance of education for everyone and how we can positively treat each other.

Second grade worked hard creating models of rocks flowing down rivers to help them understand rock erosion.
