5th graders learned about the history of candy corn, dissected parts of spooky sentences, made cootie catchers to learn text features, and wrapped up the day with Trunk or Treat and room parties!

Preschool enjoyed a chilly morning at the pumpkin patch.
Don't forget about the FFA's breakfast tomorrow morning from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at the American Legion in Burlington Junction. The free-will donation meal will consist of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, sausage gravy, juice, and coffee.
Show up tomorrow for the FFA Breakfast at the Legion in Burlington Junction. It runs from 8 am - 12 pm.

Kindergarten has been learning about rhyming words using nursery rhymes. This week they worked with a group to create a poster for one nursery rhyme they have learned!

Congratulations to the students below for earning "Perfect First Quarter!" These students had perfect attendance, no discipline referrals, and were never tardy to class for the entire first quarter! They will be treated to a special lunch of pizza, pop, chips, and cookies on Wednesday, November 8th.
This week second grade had an impressive achievement! Everyone got 100% on their spelling pretest, so we celebrated with a mini party instead of taking the actual test. Great job Second Grade!
