In 6th Grade ELA, students use a variety of activities and resources this week to extend their depth of knowledge and understanding. In addition, the opportunity to exercise their own individual use of imagination!

West Nodaway's 8th grade class learned about waves in Mr. Wallinga's class today!


It's almost time to start thinking about West Nodaway's annual high school play and dinner theatre that will be held on Saturday, April 15th. Dinner theatre tickets will be $13.00 person, and the menu will be announced at a later date! General admission tickets will be $5.00 at the door, and no dinner will be included. Parent-Teacher Conferences! 📝


We are celebrating National FFA Week at West Nodaway this week! 🚜🌽


Next Friday, Mr. Downing will be taking a couple of his classes on a field trip to Northwest Missouri State University to celebrate National History Day!


3rd through 6th Grade is working on their research skills. Each pair of students selected a famous African American (mathematicians, athletes, poets, etc.). They generated questions, researched answers, and are starting to write their ideas for a presentation.





PK through 2nd Grade students have been learning about similarities and differences. We all eat but we like different food. We all live somewhere but have different houses. Students did a great job drawing/writing their ideas and then presenting to their classmates.







The book fair will be open during the elementary basketball tournaments this weekend! Stop by the library between games and check out all of the goodies!
