Flu Shot Clinic will take place during Parent Teacher Conferences from 4:00-7:00PM on October 23!💉


Our second "College and Career Monday" took place on October 16. This trip focused on careers related to healthcare professions. Five students were in attendance and had the opportunity to speak with people working in mortuary science, radiology, physical therapy, emergency services, chiropractic, nursing, and diabetes education. Students also toured Iowa Western Clarinda Campus and learned about their programs.

8th Grade students attended Nodaway County Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 13. We visited JL Houston/PolyTank, Metal Culverts, NUCOR-LMP, and DRiV-Tenneco. Thank you to all of the businesses for allowing students to visit and learn about your company.

4th graders critically thought about what Nuns, Knights, Monks, and Craftsmen's lifestyles were like in the Middle Ages.




Fourth graders are critically thinking of how to persuade the class on what role someone should be in the Middle Ages. The roles given are: Serfs, Lords, Craftsmen, and Knights. Each group presented to the class on why their role given is better than other roles! Great job 4th grade!





5th graders use Quiz-Quiz-Trade to determine examples of
pronouns and prepositions!






Preschool earned 10 class stars and painted pumpkins today. Thank your Harper Conn for bringing us pumpkins to paint.
