Our morning mentoring program started 2nd Quarter with lots of energy. There are some new elementary students in the mix who are excited to connect with a high school buddy!
Did you know a shark and cat can solve a problem together? What happens when superheroes need help? Those are the types of questions Preschool and Kindergarten students asked as they used their creativity after finishing their counseling lesson on responsibility. These students have come a long way in learning how to share, take turns, and show respect towards each other and the classroom.
Some junior and senior students went to the "Build My Future" event in Bethany, MO with Mrs. Jones this week. They were able to explore various careers in the welding and construction industry and obtain some really good hands-on experience. Some students found job shadow opportunities!
