Varsity Volleyball is playing in the 4 Team Round Robin Falls City Volleyball Tournament tomorrow in Falls City, NE!

🎟Admission: Adults $6/Students $4 NO PASSES ACCEPTED.

West Nodaway HS is excited to announce the start of a new student organization — the Interact Club, sponsored by the Maryville Rotary Club. Interact is a service-based club that empowers students to take action in their school, community, and around the world. Members will build leadership skills, make new connections, and discover the power of helping others through hands-on projects and volunteer opportunities.

The club’s first meeting will be held on Wed, October 22, during 8th hour in Mrs. Honan's room. All high school students are welcome to join!

Nine seniors attended a college fair at Northwest Missouri State and took a tour of campus. They were able to meet with several college representatives and gather information to help narrow down their college choice.

Sophomores attended the Nodaway County docudrama event. Students watched as a mock crash scene unfolded and were able to see how emergency services respond to an accident. Afterwards they listened to people share their story of being impacted by impaired or distracted driving. The message emphasized was how one misjudgment, one mistake, one slip, has consequences that lasts forever.

Our first College & Career Monday trip was almost washed out but we were able to complete the day with a slight detour. Students toured Tarkio Tech and discovered they are now an A+ post-secondary option! We then visited with Enel Wind Energy where students learned about various job opportunities and equipment used. Our stop at Golden Triangle was canceled because of the rain, however, Maryville Fire Department offered us an opportunity to tour their facility and pretend to be a firefighter.

Thank you to the great group that traveled with Mrs. Clayton. The day was brightened by all the chatter and laughter along the way.
