The Biology class brought the learning standards on gene expression to life by extending their study of DNA transcription and RNA translation through an engaging protein synthesis cookie lab. After the lab, the students got to enjoy their genetically coded Christmas cookies!

Elementary students worked in groups to create table decorations for their upcoming Christmas lunch. Snowmen, reindeer, gingerbread houses, and lots of Christmas trees were made this week in counseling class time. Students did a great job communicating and helping each other!
7th Grade finished their career unit during counseling time. Students worked in groups to create a business, develop interview questions, and conduct an interview of their peers. Students practiced handshakes, eye contact, and speaking clearly.
